Learners should have previously completed a Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Mat work qualification.
They should be aged 16+ and some experience of attending reformer Pilates classes is highly recommended.
The course requires physical exertion, therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary and there is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners’ should have basic skills in communication pitched at Level 2.
The qualification purpose:
The aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Planning and Delivering Reformer Pilates Sessions (RQF) is to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills of experienced fitness or Pilates professionals to include Reformer-based Pilates sessions. The qualification covers anatomical knowledge, practical teaching competence, and client-centred programming specifically for Reformer equipment.
During the qualification learners will cover the following:
· Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Health – online module completed prior to practical days
· Principles of Exercise, Fitness and Health – online module compleed prior to practical days
· Health, Safety, and Welfare in a Fitness Environment – completed during practical days
· Supporting Clients in Exercise Settings – online module completed prior to practical days
· Foundations of Reformer Pilates: History, Principles and Equipment – completed during practical days
· Planning and Delivering Reformer Pilates Sessions – completed duringpracitcal days
· Adapting Reformer Pilates for Diverse Populations – online module completed prior to pracicla days

Enrolment, click our enrolment form and pay either full payment or deposit for your course
Once initial payment is received you can then book a 1-1 teams call with heather via the calendar to discuss setting up your home study (online modules) and completion of your work books prior to your practical days
You will then attend 5 practical days and on the last day of your course you will complete your summative practical assessment (teaching your class plan to your peers in your group)
Once you have then submitted your class plan & any outstanding works, it will then take between 10-12 weeks for your certificate to be granted to you.
